Meet the Founder — Nicole Harris

Nicole Harris grew up in Brooklyn, raised by Caribbean parents from Barbados, where carnival wasn't just an event — it was tradition. Every Labor Day on the Parkway, and every summer at Crop Over back in Barbados, Nicole watched the costumes come alive: the feathers, the colors, the music, the people. It felt like a dream, and she knew she wanted to be part of it — not just wearing the costumes, but making them.

What started as designing pieces for herself quickly became something bigger. Her one-of-a-kind, custom creations caught attention, and soon friends were asking her to design for them too. After years of reinventing her own look every carnival season, the question kept coming: "Nicky, why don't you start designing?" In 2014, she finally said yes — and she hasn't stopped since.

Today, Nicole pours that same passion into every piece she creates. Being trusted to design for someone's special moment is something she never takes for granted — it's a feeling she describes as pure blessing. Her biggest supporters from day one? Her mom and grandma — the ones who believed in her before anyone else did.
